Slater's 50/50 - Great for Happy Hour, Sunday Brunch or Anytime!

Have you thought of trying a new place to dine?  I recently tried a new place that's been open since July 1, 2013 in Rancho Cucamonga, at VICTORIA GARDENS.    The name of it is SLATER'S 50/50 and they serve and sell BURGERS BY DESIGN Plus some DELICIOUS and CREATIVE other DISHES you MUST TRY!

There are several BEERS on tap and crafted ones.  If you're a Beer Lover, you may want to try slater's!!

Unbeknownst to me, I didn't realize the 50/50 in the name stood for the percentage of BACON included in your burger, or the macaroni and cheese balls that I tried.  By the way, those are AMAZING...AND A DEFINITE MUST TRY!

I asked for a low cal something to our waiter, and he basically told me right up front.  We don't do anything low cal here so don't worry about it.  Just enjoy the food.  There was a little bit of freedom in that for me when I heard him say that!   Talk about exciting!  That tempted me to be daring!  

So I tried the sampler of appetizers....which included two of the macaroni balls (that were 50% bacon - YUMM!), a serving of batter fried jalapeno's and then a serving of onion rings.  That was amazingly tasty and filling.

My friend got a burger that was also good but we both agreed we could have just gotten the sampler and been fine!

The sauces are yummy.  There was a jalapeno sauce or something like that kind of pinkish in color that was especially good to dip the MAC BALLS.  The barbeque sauce was also yummy and there was also a ranch looking sauce.  

Service was EXCELLENT.

Nikki in the Bar was very helpful and also served up a DELICIOUS LEMON DROP...if you're like me and rarely drink, this was a TREASURE IN THE WAITING and an EXTRA TREAT.

I'm curious to try them for HAPPY HOUR.  

Prices are super reasonable.

GOOD LUCK getting a seat...they normally have a very long wait but we got lucky on a Sunday late morning and got a seat at the bar (behold the Lemon Drop!), and just ate there.  The bar also has 5 tv's in the bar area, with more around the circumference...which is so nice!  

Bathrooms were clean and tastefully done.

The staff aims to please and was very friendly and professional/courteous.

I will definitely be going back to Slater's!
