What is Best Placement for Your Cash Register According to Feng Shui

From a Feng shui perspective the best location for your cash register is by having a "commanding postion."  This means identifying a location within your office that allows you to see the front entrance into your building clearly. You also want to place the register in an area that has a supportive solid  backing  if possible.   Ty and pay particular attention that the register is not in direct alignment with the front door (money in and money out).

One more tip, be mindful of  mirrors. One perspective could say have the register viewed in the mirror could double the money or another perspective could views this as money hitting a mirror and "bouncing" outside again.

Laura, I had no idea there was a proper Feng Shui way to place the cash register. I would have thought convenience would be the key factor and then of course security would be first.

I love going into shops and seeing various feng shui princples in play. I'm a big believer and am spending the morning - deep cleaning, and re-arranging in my office after a professional carpet cleaning. It already feels so much more productive and welcoming.

I always find these tips fascinating, Laura.  Not having your cash register facing the door is something to remember.

I like the idea of the money doubling instead of it bouncing out the door.

I found this was true for me too. Before when I was facing the opposite direction I kept turning my head to see what was behind me. It was very distracting. Now everything is good!
