About an hour drive from Roanoke, just half an hour from Lynchburg and on the Bedford side of Smith Mountain Lake, Mariners Landing has made a name for itself in our area for being an impressive golf and vacation destination.
Mariners Landing’s 18-hole course opened in 1993 and boasts a variety of approaches that is sure to please any level golfer. Designed by Robert Trent Jones, Sr., the course meanders along the lake shoreline, climaxing at the 10th hold, which is one of the Roanoke Valley’s highlights.
