Bryan Halloween Night Happenings 2013
Halloween here in Bryan-College Station is just two days away. Ah! This is the one night a year we confuse our children by telling them that it is OK to take candy from strangers. In fact, we encourage them to go right up to the door and beg for the stuff. Door-to-door trick-or-treating is SO last year. Instead, try one of these Bryan Halloween Night Happenings 2013.
Allen Academy Fall Fest
Where: Allen Academy (3201 Boonville Rd)
When: 5:30pm to 9:30pm
Cost for Rides/Games: $0.50 per ticket or $25 unlimited wristband
Contact: (979) 776-0731
Hay rides, a haunted house, bounce house and games are all part of the fun at the Allen Academy Fall Fest. Each ride and game will cost at least one ticket. The $25 wristband gives kids unlimited access to all activities. All proceeds raised from the festival will benefit Allen Academy's Parents Association and, in turn, the students of the academy.
Where: American Momentum Bank Ballpark (2200 Bomber Dr)
When: 6pm to 9pm
Contact: Susan Cagle (979) 985-5190
Instead of shlubbing the kids house to house and neighborhood to neighborhood, concentrate your efforts in one place. While trick-or-treating is still on the menu for the evening, there's more than candy at BooFest. Kids will enjoy old fashioned Halloween fun like bobbing for apples, a ring toss and even fishing for candy. Each child is encouraged to participate in the costume contest for their chance at some fun prizes.
Fright Nights Downtown
Where: Downtown Bryan (205 S Main St)
When: 8pm to 12am
Contact: (979) 822-4920
The ghosts and ghouls haunting the old Los Nortenos building in downtown Bryan will only be here one more night after tonight. Help them raise money for the restoration of the Queen Theater. If you like a good fright (but not TOO scary), this is perfect. Kids under 13 must be accompanied by an adult.
Want to have a howling good time without having to trudge all over creation? Try one of these Bryan Halloween Night Happenings 2013. That way, the kids get to have a good time in a safe environment and you won't have to worry about them roaming around in the dark outside. Happy Halloween!
