Mid-century Modern Design Series: Patterns & Textures

By
Home Stager with Design2Sell

Design2Sell’s Mid-century Modern Design continues with Patterns & Textures.  This trend really embraces clean lines, geometric shapes, graphics and vivid colors such as the primary colors -red, yellow and blue combined with white or black. Graphics were also including in patterns giving the pattern a unique feel. The textures where usually heavier in weight like burlap or wool knits which had included a textural value to the fabric and also displayed good quality. Today we are seeing a lot of chevron, poke-a-dots and stripe patterns. Below are a few patterns and textures we enjoy that can be used in today’s décor.

What’s your favorite pattern or texture?

1.  Target pillow $25  2.WestElme Rug $69+ 3.Jonathan Adler Rug $795  4.  Wayfair Shaggy Rug $ 57+ 5.Etsy Wall decal $27 6. Horchow Rug $199
