It's finally Fall in Mesa and Gilbert, Arizona!

Finally! Today there are actual clouds in the sky in Mesa, Arizona! I always tell Arizona newcomers that you have to hang on until Halloween to see the change from summer to fall, so I guess we're two days early this year. From this point until sometime in May, we Arizona desert dwellers have bragging rights over just about every state except Hawaii. Just don't call me in August and say, "Is it hot enough for ya?"

So how will I celebrate the change in weather? Well, today, I'm doing an open house at my awesome Morrison Ranch listing. I know a lot of you realtors hate to do the open houses. I love them! Your sellers love to see you out there working to sell their house. (I know, I know--we do so much for our sellers that they can't see. But even when we tell our sellers all of the internet marketing, phone calling, negotiating, etc., that we're doing for their property, they can't SEE it. Hustling and setting up signs, they can see.)

Plus, you look good to the neighbors! Just last month, I had a neighbor come in to one of my open houses and say when he's ready to list, he's listing with me. Why? Because he could see me sweating as I set up multiple open houses for a property that sold within two weeks for a record price in that neighborhood. I got a listing last spring the same way. Open houses work!

Well, off I go to load signs into my car. It's going to be a great open house!
