Last call to pick-your-own pumpkin at Sharp's at Waterford in Brookeville, MD!
Sharp's is one of our favorite local farms in Maryland and an annual visit to pick our own pumpkins is a must! We almost missed it this year - a busy Fall Real Estate season, torrential downpours and a visit from family kept us busy over the last few weeks - and my girls were afraid that Sharp's wouldn't have any pumpkins left to pick!
As it turned out, there was no need to worry:
We enjoyed the hay-ride out to the pumpkin patch and found the perfect pumpkin. We also visited with the goats, pigs and cows and picked up apples, sunspot squash and popcorn at Sharp's farmstore.
If you haven't picked your own pumpkin yet this Fall then this weekend is your last chance. Sharp's is open until Sunday November 3rd, 2013 (Fall tours continue until Nov. 15th - you can register online).
