The Pike and Wayne County Real Estate Sales Report* for September 2013. Currently in Pike and Wayne County there are 2,083 active (single family residence, condo/townhouses, PA state cabin - non foreclosures) listings in Pike and Wayne County. They range from a 1-bedroom, 1-bathroom cottage on Gumbletown Road listed at $17,000 to a 5-bedroom, 5-bathroom Lake Wallenpaupack Lakefront listed at $3,933,000. 

146 residential properties closed in Pike and Wayne County in September. Currently there are 189 non-foreclosure pending listings in Pike and Wayne County (45 pending foreclosure listings).

The average list price in Pike County was $224,437. The average days on the market was 199. During the month of September there were 197 new listings in Pike County. In Pike County, the data would indicate that more properties sold this September than last September, the average list price increased and the average sale price was down slightly (3.75%) from Sept 2012. There is an increase of listings on the market during the month of September 2013 from last September.

In Wayne County, 15% less properties sold this September than last year. The average list price was relatively flat as was the number of new listings during the month of September compared to September 2012. Homes in Wayne County, Pennsylvania stayed on teh market 37% longer than they did last September but the average sales price for this September was up 28%.
