Can you change the karma in a stigmatized property? Ask the Red Sox

I am writing this blog under the Just for Fun section as that is all it is meant to be. 1918--a date learned early by every kid in New England. A date passed along from generation to generation. As a native New Englander who grew up hearing about the "curse" of the Babe, I have to say I have taken delight in watching the Red Sox win Game 6 of the World Series at home.

Legand has it that Babe Ruth placed a curse on his old home, Fenway Park, before heading out to build his new home in New York.

After 95 years of not clenching a World Series Championship in the house that Babe cursed, the home team did it tonight.

How can I connect this to real estate? This could be a lesson learned for all of us. Even known stigmatized properties have the potential to turn into charmed sites!

Go Sox!

It was a great series although tonights game was not one of the better.

Charles, agreed. Exciting for us to see all the hits, however, I loved the drama of those close scoring games and the surprise endings with obstruction and a pick.

Thanks, Eric. It seems I always heard my Dad saying, oh well wait until next ye year.  My Mom's quote was always Good Luck to you and the Red Sox. Things sure have changed for the better.

Rebecca, I know what you mean about Dad's loving baseball. It was bittersweet not having him to call and say they did it!
