I am writing this blog under the Just for Fun section as that is all it is meant to be. 1918--a date learned early by every kid in New England. A date passed along from generation to generation. As a native New Englander who grew up hearing about the "curse" of the Babe, I have to say I have taken delight in watching the Red Sox win Game 6 of the World Series at home.
Legand has it that Babe Ruth placed a curse on his old home, Fenway Park, before heading out to build his new home in New York.
After 95 years of not clenching a World Series Championship in the house that Babe cursed, the home team did it tonight.
How can I connect this to real estate? This could be a lesson learned for all of us. Even known stigmatized properties have the potential to turn into charmed sites!
Go Sox!
