It's been two years in the making, but finally someone trusts me enough to give me a shot at my own two hour general topic Talk Show.
Debuing tomorrow (Saturday March 15, 2008) on am 1520 WHIM, The Simon Conway Radio Experience aims to bring you all my take on the issues of the day - national, international and when relevant, local too!
The show airs between 4pm and 6pm Eastern.
Brought to you by the law offices of Maney & Gordon and by PJM Inc., The Simon Conway Radio Experience will provide Insight with a smile as perhaps I try and find the lighter side of some of these issues.
I promise that tomorrow's show will be exciting with no less than THREE guests agreeing to be my guinea pigs.
First up is Jim Gilchrist - founder of The Minuteman Project. Jim founded the multi-ethnic Minuteman Project on Oct. 1, 2004, after years of frustrated efforts trying to get a neglectful U.S. government to simply enforce existing immigration laws. I guess his plan isn't working because they let me in!
Jim holds a B.A. in newspaper journalism, a B.S. in business administration, and an M.B.A. in taxation. He is a former newspaper reporter and a retired California CPA.
Jim is a veteran of the U.S. Marine Corps and recipient of the Purple Heart award for wounds sustained while serving with an infantry unit in Vietnam, 1968 - 1969. In my mind, Jim is a true American hero.
Next up we have one of the top scientists from the recent 2008 International Conference on Climate Change. More than 500 attendees discussed the REAL story behind climate change. Although invited, Al Gore declined to attend. I wonder why!
Finally we have Tim Cox, author of "Revolution - Get Out Of Our House" a plan to replace all 435 members of the US House of Representatives.
On top of that I will be talking about the Rev Jeremiah Wright - the racist hate monger preacher to Presidential candidate Barack Obama. Just words Mr Obama? We will see.
We have ANOTHER teacher having sex with a student and much much more. Of course - I want your calls too. Let's debate!
