The Coconut Grove Gallery Walk on the first Saturday of the month will take place tomorrow, November 2nd from 7 to 10pm in the Grove Art District which expands from Commodore Plaza and Main Highway to CocoWalk and Mayfair on Grand Avenue.
Coconut Grove is a successful art district in Miami. The first Saturday of every month is a peak arts day in the Grove when several renowned galleries display the latest exhibitions by local, professional and emerging artists.
Guests walk along the brick paths from gallery to gallery enjoying the many interesting art pieces, live entertainment and a few wine stops along the way.
All of the galleries do something special each month; some will host an Artist Reception which features an artist and their work. It’s a great opportunity to meet the artist, learn more about their work and enjoy refreshments.
Frameworks Gallery, 3196 Commodore Plaza, is having an Artist’s Reception tomorrow featuring R. Fernandez Vega and Susan K. Feldman. Fernandez Vega is an award-winning artist and editorial illustrator and former Miami Herald/El Nuevo Herald Pulitzer Prize winner. Susan K. Feldman has a love for watercolor painting and says that her work has been described as impressionistic, contemporary, ethereal, delicate and even fun. The Frameworks Artist’s Reception will take place from 6-8pm.
Art aficionados love the Grove’s first Saturday of the month gallery walk. The monthly gallery walk has taken place for nearly three years and has become an increasingly popular event over the years. While the artists are thrilled with the turnout at every exhibit, art enthusiasts are even more pleased with their finds.
The Coconut Grove Gallery walk is free and open to the public. Art and cultural lovers interested in learning more about the Coconut Grove lifestyle, be sure to visit JillPenman.com or contact us at 305-807-9199.
