Why buy a $1125 painting when you can look at the hardware store window?

I love to browse through the antique European paintings on ebay.  I saw this little 12 inch "plein air" painting of a cow, listed for $1,125.   Oh, well.  I headed out to pick up coffee and turned the corner by Fair Haven (N.J.) hardware and saw the latest paintings in the window of good old-fashioned Fair Haven Hardware.  SWEET!

People often say Fair Haven reminds them of a town in a Normal Rockwell scene.  It's a town where kids all walk to top-rated schools and ride their bikes to meet friends.  There's a great esprit de corps and it's a town where volunteerism is alive and well.  If you are thinking of moving to the Jersey Shore, give me a call and let me show you our Fair Haven.
