Recently I had a client who wanted a specific ranch floor plan in a specific community with no current homes available. I noticed on Zillow they have owners that have entered their own houses with a basic price they are looking for to move (Make Me Move!).
You see, these buyers aren't interested in actively marketing their property for sale, but, would consider moving for the right price! After running out of options for my clients I decided I would try to "Make Them Move". I contacted the owners and after one showing my clients fell in love. We negoiated a deal, me acting as the transaction broker for both the buyer and seller, and are now getting ready to close for the holidays!
Sometimes with the right resources and some tenacity, you can always make a MOVE happen!
Is this a new avenue for obtaining clients or a new avenue for Home Owners to list their home with the public with out a full commitment to sale? I don't know, but all I know at this time is my clients are happy, on both sides!
