This guy is out on a limb for the right reasons. He does it for a living. Do you see him? Almost seven stories in the air in a giant tree on a skinny branch with a chain saw in heavy wind trimming this tree. That's an electrical wire running below him too. I talked with another man on the ground who used to do this. He says the first time up, his legs shook and more
Richie, I think I see him ... with the little orange/red dot which I presume is a safety helmet. That is a very small limb to be standing on. He looks like he is posing for the photo.
Charles...as long as one can pursue the rush and not have it chase them...so be it...I got high watching him get high
Hello Kathleen...That is indeed a small limb in a heavy wind. When he was swaying with it back and forth, if got my full attention. He would ride it until it stopped and then start his chain saw and cut..Stop and start. Stop and start...Whoa
I give these guys a lot of credit, but not something I will ever do. I hire many of these guys to trim trees for us on a regular basis, they just don't seem to have any fear.
Richie, I know one thing for certain, that is a job I would NEVER do.... I am always amazed at people who do stuff like this for a living, and grateful they can!
Hello Joe...your comment sums it all up...thank you Joe
Hello Andrea...I read for many fell off bridges that were being built like the Golden Gate and the Brooklyn and that is what they did for a living...High risk and there is no plaque to be seen for them when crossing those bridges either
Richie, there are some jobs you KNEW at an early age that would NOT be in your future! Being very height challenged, this was not one field I was interested in!
Hello Joan...Don't look down...visited with me quite often in younger years...Its definetly not for me...
