The First Real Snow Fall Of The Season

This morning we received our first accumulating snow fall of the season in Cambridge, MN.  My youngest, Lukas, who is not yet two was so excited to see the snow. He wanted to get out there and play in it right away.  We even gave him a little shovel and he started to shovel the driveway. Now if I could only get the older kids to be so ambitious!

Snow Fall

This snow will all probably melt. Part of me was saying please melt (I am not a big fan of snow).  However the other part of me was saying," Don't Melt Today."  I help at our LOGOS wednesday afternoon program at Church with the outdoor activities and its nice for the kids to have snow to sled on!  We will see how it goes with that in about 30 minutes!

Being located in the mountains of Western Maryland, we usually have snow like that by this time of year.  However we have enjoyed a warm autumn thus far and today was in the mid 60's. I'm sure our nice weather won't stay for long.
