So...I know I'm behind the times in watching movies etc. Our family is always on the run so we seem to watch the latest and greatest movies about 6 months after everyone else.
For this particular show though..I was curious what you all thought.
I'm talking about "An Inconvenient Truth". I must first say I've worked with Former Vice President Al Gore before so do have just a little experience with him and know a fair amount about his background. I'll also add that he wasn't my favorite protectee but overall was a smart, kind man. Without speaking too much on the politicial front I'll also say that he wasn't my choice for President.

That being said, I must say that I thought overall An Inconvenient Truth was an educational and very well thought out movie. I know there is much debate on the subject of global warming, but as I see it...what is the harm in trying to protect the earth even if for some reason global warming may not be truly occuring? Wouldn't it be smart of us to all to re-use things more, stop the obsessive need to always have more, faster, better, bigger? Sure would make it easier for those of us that would like to get back to a SIMPLER lifestyle.
If I had anything negative to say about An Inconvenient Truth, it would be that they spent so much time talking about the problem but didn't provide just as much time on how we can make a change. They did address how we can help, just not as much as I was hoping.
On their web site they DO have some additonal information for those of you...and I'm hoping ALL of you...that are willing to pitch in, make some minor lifestyle changes and help save the Earth. We've only got one of them!
Here's their site for those that would like some steps on what you can do to help: http://www.climatecrisis.net/takeaction/
