I need the sun to shine so the photos will look better.

The weather in Boise is usually wonderful.  It is sunny  and bright.  I have a listing and rental and it has been gloomy when I had my photographer take the pictures for the rental.  The listing pictures I took and they are gloomy. I am thinking to wait until it is sunny to have her come over.  Today is gloomy too. Any ideas on how to brighten up the home?

Good morning Debbie.  Have you tried photo-shopping the photos? You're right a dark, dreary photo can be a turn off for the perfect home buyer.  Debbie likes Ribbit.com quick, easy and basic.  I use a built in Mac product on my photos.  May the sun return to your area soon!  It couldn't be any sunnier or bluer sky here today.  We are blessed.

There are lots of ideas to brighten up the home, Debbie. And yes, you can check out on how to do that online. I also posted a blog last 10/31/13  http://activerain.com/blogsview/4236168/think-like-a-home-buyer-and-act-like-a-professional-photographer. Maybe this will give you some ideas...

Thanks I will read your blog article.  Frank.  I lightened up one picture but I still want a sunny day so the world is brighter.

I always say you can't beat a blue sky and fluffy white clouds in photographs.

You could fake it: http://www.smartphotoeditor.com/
