Good topic Lori.  I establish a friendship with a lot of clients so it's not out of the ordinary to call or email about common interests.  Always look out for something they'd find interesting that I could send along.  Birthdays always deserve a hello, and I like to reach out around tax season to help with anything regarding mortgage finance questions.
