Franklin TN Brownstone Sold by Tammie White
A few months back, I was contacted by an out-of-state buyer. He had visited Franklin TN during one of its annual festivals. He absolutely loved the city, especially, Historic Franklin.
He and his wife had walked around downtown Franklin and had happened upon The Brownstones located at the corners of 2nd Avenue and Church Street. They absolutely fell in love with the architecture of these homes.
Although construction of the development began in 2005 the design is reminiscent of the old Victorian Brownstones built in the late 1800's. Each Brownstone is a custom home with luxurious amenities and attention to detail.
The Brownstones are three-stories with a basement. An elevator in each home provides easy accessibility to all four levels. Some of the custom features you can expect to see are gourmet kitchens with commercial-grade Viking applicances, curved walls, spiral staircases, domed ceilings and wooden inlays. Many have private patios, courtyards or a rooftop deck. All units have a minimum of a two-car garage. This particular home has a three-car.
Every Brownstone also has a view of the interior courtyard which is lushly landscaped with a fountain and benches. This home located at 200 Emily Court has a front porch facing the interior courtyard.
The buyers came into town for a weekend in September. I had previously previewed all the units available at the time and sent the buyer all the property condition disclosures prior to arrival. After viewing the homes, it was easy for them to make a choice. We wrote an offer that very afternoon.
They are now the proud owners of one fo the 40 Brownstones located in Historic Franklin.
