Cedar Creek Dog Park, Wantagh - Seaford, New York, 11783

Closed a few weeks for renovations, the grand re-opening of this really popular local dog park just took place.

Cedar Creek has been extended in size and generally made more "pet and people friendly" with ample sitting area and parking, a concrete walkway from lot to benches (my shoes thank you!), a drinking and shade area for the dogs and a redesigned entranceway that allows in and out with reduced opportunity for canine escape.

My Chloe is the tan and black German Shepherd/Greyhound and whatever else rescue and she couldn't be any happier.

Carol - It wasn't all that long ago that we didn't have any on Long Island so I really appreciate them.

Roger - I also take her on regular walks but she likes when she can socialize with the other dogs.

Sheila - I've never been to that one. I should check it out in the spring.
