People Caring For People - California Bay Area Resource Directory

Earlier this week I stopped by the Gilroy offices of Visiting Angels and had the opportunity to visit with Dorie Sugay, Executive Director.

Dorie shared updates with me about the initiatives they are taking to help more people.  It sounds as if they have many wonderful caregivers and programs available to offer based on your specific needs.

For those unfamiliar with non-medical in-home care services like those offered by Visiting Angels, they help people in a variety of ways and their clients select their caregiver.  For example, if you or a loved one needs assistance with meal preparation, laundry, light housekeeping or simply someone to chat with - this type of service could be right for you.

While there, I picked up a copy of the Senior Citizens Resource Directory for Sana Clara County.  Flipping through its pages I found all types of additional information including informative articles.
