The historic Newnan Downtown Square hasn’t changed very much over all of the years, but there have been some changes.
Since the opening of the New Justice Center on the south side of town, the old courthouse now houses some minor agencies and the Newnan / Coweta County Visitor Center. It’s a great first stop for those seeking information about what to see and do while visiting the area.
In addition to the many shops and restaurants punctuating the Square, the newly restored Carnegie Library is now one of the cornerstones of Downtown.
There are also several parks within walking distance of Downtown, beautifully landscaped and perfect for strolling or a picnic lunch.
