Today I got a floor call. This doesn't happen very often. The lady wasn't working with a Realtor and wanted to see the home that was listed by a colleague. They wanted to see it at 7:30 PM. I had a meeting to go to but I left early to drive to Nampa. I got there just in time! I turned on all the lights and waited 1/2 hour. I called her but her answering machine picked up. I then drove the 1/2 hour ride home.
It has happened before. I try not to get to upset but the truth is that I changed my plans to show the home. I drove 30 minutes each way to get to the home. I waited for 1/2 hour there. I spent 1 hour gathering information. Tomorrow is another day... Maybe she will call me and tell me that she thought it was another time.... In our business it happens occasionally. I wish people would realize we are real people with real lives and be polite and either show up or call. My gripe for the day.
