When we asked the ActiveRain community, "What service is most valuable to your success?" the IDX web site was the overwhelming number one response.

Now, we at ActiveRain want to know WHY and WHAT makes the best personal and/or IDX web site?  Click the survey button below to get started.

I am also wonder where this is going?  Wishing in one hand doesn't make it happen, it all happens at a cost to us.  thanks for the survey, Nikki.

I completed the survey.  And the most important concern for me is how quickly the data is updated.  When you are dealing with hundreds of MLS databases, how quickly will your data be updated? Every 15 minutes? Every hour? Every 2 hours? Every day?  I want to let my clients know about changes to our MLS as fast as I know about them.  I do not want to send them auto-updates via my MLS.  I want to send myself auto-updates via MLS and then personally notify my clients via my IDX website.  That is the most important criteria. I am searching for an IDX website that is practically real-time.

The other important criteria is the status of the listing.  My current IDX does not do a good job of differentiating between all the TYPES of actives. That is the second most important criteria.

Good luck.  Market leader has been on my radar.  Wondering what you are planning...?
