I am thankful for my mother, and I miss her everyday since she died, and have a beautful young picture of her over my desk.
She is responsible of the woman I have become, she raised me in the Baptist Church, and I attend the one in my area every Sabbath.
She taught me never to lie, and to always treat everyone fairly. She expected me to make good grades, and I did on through college.
All the kids wanted to come to my house to hang out, even though most of them had nicer homes. She always had great food and snacks for us, and once when my dad was building a new home, we lived in the garage until it got finished.
We had a slumber of forty girls in the new home, which had a roof and was only partially framed in, and she keep us supplied with huge tubs of popcorn, sandwiches, and soft drinks. We didn't have to worry about disturbing the neighbors because we didn't live close to anyone.
We would gather at my house, and go pick up golfballs, which we would sale to the golf course manager.
I thank God everyday for placing me with my mom!
