Tips when looking for a rental

By
Real Estate Broker/Owner 01293735 CA

1. Have a completed application and credit report ready

2. Drive by the house first to make sure you like it

3. Find out the minimum standards of the landlord

4. Have the home inspected for maintenance and code issues

5.Get references on the landlord and how the property is managed and maintained

6. In multi-unit properties meet the other tenants too

A little due diligence can save you lots of time, money and frustration down the road.
