Is it hot enough for you? It is in Mesa, Arizona!

Those of us who suffer through desert summers in Mesa, Arizona, love to call our friends in the more "normal" states (normal = anywhere else) in November just to ask what the temperature is outside.

Well, yesterday, it was 91 degrees (at least) in Mesa. I was showing homes in the afternoon and thought I would die of heat stroke as my client looked and looked and looked at the south-facing, full sun backyard.

Even more shocking, I had to turn on the air conditioning in my home in the evening so I could get to sleep! (Full disclosure: I like it COLD when I'm sleeping.) A quick survey of my Mesa friends revealed that 100% of them had to turn their a/c on, too!

So this is not a post to brag about our great winters in Arizona. Bring on the 80s, or the 70s, or even the 60s. I do not want 90 degrees in November!

We get the heat here in the Central Valley in the summer time but I like my fall & winters much cooler than 91.

Yeah, I can usually brag about our mild winters down in the Southeast, but today is making a fool of me.  It's going to be in the 20s.  I'm going to be a very unhappy girl.  I'd happily trade?

No worries today's high was 85 and it's on the way to the 70's by the weekend.  AC - really?  We opened the windows and it was gorgeous out - but we could be higher than you in North Phoenix.

We had snow yesterday and it was 25 degrees. Today it was a beautiful sunny and warm day with temps in the 50s.
