Thank You For Telling Your Friends About Me!

By
Real Estate Agent with Alain Pinel Realtors CA BRE 01914367

A client asked today if I minded they had given my information to someone who needs to buy a home.

The answer is a resounding THANK YOU!  What could be a better show of appreciation than your clients suggesting others also come to you.

 Happy Clients

This is a clear indication that when we take the time to listen and are responsive, our clients appreciate it.  They remember it.  They tell others about us.  This is also true when we don't take proper care of them.

My choice is to represent my client, be they a buyer or a seller, with everything I've got.  That includes giving them the information to decide against a choice.  No short cuts and no having to wonder if I should have done more.

Some referrals only make it to the starting line while others run the entire race and celebrate the finish.  Once thing I can say for certain, guiding a client through a real estate transaction requires patient perseverance.  Whether the victory is a completed escrow or deciding to wait, be sure to celebrate.

As always, let's foresee the possibilities . . . and get results!

There is no better reward than getting a referral from another client - that kind of trust is invaluable and worth more than 100s of paid leads.

I've gotten requests from current and past clients about referring a friend or relative to me too.

I always thought it strange, of course my answer is, Of coure, please do".

With the majority of my business being referral is is critical to be a great agent and take care of who is in front of us. I love the sentence that "I listen".  Very powerful.

Working by referral is the best way. Keeping in touch with your clients and asking for referrals is the way to make that happen.

Thank you all for stopping by and commenting and I'm thrilled to hear how well everyone is doing with referrals.  It tells me you listen to your clients and take good care!

Evelyn, I agree that work pays off and how we treat others matters.

Phil, You have such a wonderful opportunity to help others with reverse mortgages.  Enjoy those successes.

Margaret, I haven't paid for leads so whenever I receive a referral it's a special moment.

Bill, Congratulations on such a high referral base for your business!

Lenn, As busy as we all seem to be, isn't it nice they ask before they expect?

Jill, It is hard to imagine but some may.  I don't ever want to be "that person" too caught up not to appreciate them.

Kelly, Congratulations on your business model.  Listening is clearly key in your representation.

Marc, Keeping in touch does make a difference and when they refer without our asking, well - priceless!

Thank you all again for stopping by and commenting.  Have a fabulous end of the year!

Rebecca, potential clients ultimately choose agents based on if they like them and trust them--this comes from referrals.

Rebecca

This is a wonderful post. It really IS all about others thinking of us and feeling we are the ones their friend/family member/colleague should talk. It's not really up to them to determine if the referral will result in a sale. What's important is that they vaule us enough to make the introduction. I am thanksful for that always, as you clearly are, too.
