What is recyclable in the city of Plantation, FL? One item that definitely is NOT recyclable are PIZZA BOXES... Personally, I would have never had guessed that! After learning this interesting recycling fact, I thought it would be a good idea to review the recycling guidelines for the city of Plantation, FL.   

 

Here are some quick tips for recycling in Plantation, FL:

  1. Place all recyclables together in the SAME recycling container.
  2. In the city of Plantation, all plastics #1-7 are recyclable.
  3. Newspapers, inserts, catalogs, junk mail (mailings from other Realtors ;) office paper, soft covered books, folders, cereal boxes are recyclable in Plantation, FL.
  4. Cardboard boxes need to be flattened
  5. Aluminum, glass, steel, and tin cans are recyclable.

  

Items that are NOT recyclable in the city of Plantation, FL

  1. Plastic toys and cups (red SOLO cups are #1 and are recyclable)
  2. Plastic bags
  3. and the most shocking of all in my personal opinion, PIZZA BOXES!
