Do You Use Testimonials in Your Marketing?

Do use testimonials in your marketing?  A good proportion of my real estate business comes from previous clients and referrals; however, I want to increase my database of prospective clients. How do you incorporate testimonials from happy clients and what type of marketing (postcards, website, print, etc) have you found to be the most successful?  There is nothing better than having someone refer a friend or collegue.
