There are several volunteer opportunities that you could do either before the holidays or on Thanksgiving day. The United Way of Forsyth County supports several food banks that you could either donate money, non perishable foods or your time.

Volunteer opportunities range from greeters, food servers, decorations, photographers and more.
Atlanta Half Marathon and Thanksgiving 5K: As one of the biggest half marathons in the country, the Atlanta 5k is the perfect place to help volunteer. Help make the run much smoother with your help on November 28th. Their charity partner this year is the Atlanta Mission.
On Saturday, November 30th, you can help out the Chili Outreach that will be put on by Safehouse Outreach. Food and hardwork will be accepted to help make this a wonderful event for everyone involved
