Could Feng Shui Help or Hurt a Home for Sale?
For years I have been speaking to individual Real Estate offices to explain the benefits of Feng Shui and realized I had not walked into one office where at LEAST one of the agents hadn’t heard about a Feng Shui consultant ruining a sale for them.
Even though its been over 25 years since Feng Shui has made its presence known in America, there is still so much being mis-communicated about this practice. Feng shui is not to be a Fear based method of teaching and if any consultant presents it in that fashion, I strongly advise you to move on. A Feng Shui consultant (teacher/mentor) is here to help educate those utilizing this lifestyle to see various resolutions and solutions to life’s challenges and learn how to become more aware to energy and their living/working environments.
A Feng Shui consultant’s job is to help advise and point out both the pro’s and con’s of any living/working space yet it’s not up to us to decide the path you take or where you choose to live. We have taken an oath to help advise and give you a honest assessment of any given space. But ultimately, you, the client/buyer will decide if the space is truly right by comparing your own thoughts, insights and feelings with the guidance of what a Feng Shui consultation has given you. The signs are always presented if it’s a good home for that particular buyer. If not, continue on with the search, refining your vision and intentions for the ideal home you are manifesting.
If you have a consultant who walks into a space or even a family member with a buyer who practices Feng Shui and says, This home is no good,” chances are the buyer will listen to them and it is what it is. If you have a consultant who can offer both pro’s and con’s and is not picking sides, just stating the Feng Shui facts of that space… then that will preferably be an ideal consultant to work with.
