Santa's Clays are Coming to Town!

Good morning Rebecca. I would be broke if Debbie came to the Santa Clay! She loves unique and cool pots. We have a 4 ft pot on our front porch with tall odd looking sticks in it. We laugh and say we live in the house of pots and sticks.

This is a beautiful event and everyone who can attend should! Your lovely post reminded me of a Retreat I attended many long years ago. Although I don't remember how the pottery poem goes that I learned while on retreat, I remember learning that "Centering is the first thing the pottery artist learns and that when you're centered, in prayer, you're in the perfect position to open yourself up to silence and faith."

I tried pottery once in JAPAN in 1998 when my daughter lived there, it was very meaningful. I would love to try it again. Your post has been an inspiration. Every piece of pottery has a story, doesn' it? I wish I could be there with you at this Santa Clays event. I would rellish the time being with you and the people to hear their stories about their clay pottery.
