12 Days Until Thanksgiving

12 more days until Thanksgiving,

• Thanksgiving…the only Holiday where you do not give gifts but you give thanks. For that reason, and many more, it’s my favorite Holiday. This is the time where you get together with loved and show off your cooking skills. You can go around the room and ask everyone what their family tradition is and they will explain it to you with a smile on their face replaying memories inside their head. When you hear everyone’s tradition it all comes down to basically the same. The family wakes up early in the morning and the kids and dads go to the TV first to watch The Thanksgiving Parade and then of course football while the moms go to the kitchen and cook like they are cooking for a million people. It’s an all day event and NOBODY wants to eat because they want to save up room for the big wonderful dinner, but of course there is always some taste testing here and there. Then finally, the time comes to eat. Dad sits at the head of the table and cuts the turkey while everyone watches and ohhhs and ahhhs.  Then just when you think you cannot put anything more in your mouth its dessert time and you cannot pass this up. See there, you are reading this and agreeing with a smile. I hope everyone remembers great Thanksgiving memories this year and is grateful for everything they have in life.
