My wife and I attended the latest play produced by the Cherokee Theatre Company last night. The play is The Lion in Winter. I know several of the cast members and it was fun to go see them do their thing. I also spoke to the director Ed Palumbo and the past director of a play I was in two years ago, Richard Goodman.
The play was, as always, fun to watch. It was well done. The plays are shown in the historic downtown Canton Georgia play house that is a minimum of 100 years old. I really like this theatre because a full house here is about 100 people or so. There are no bad seats.
This afternoon at 2pm is the final show for this weekend but it is also scheduled to play at the Soliel community clubhouse in a week or two. If you can, try to make the show today and support our local arts.
