Weird searches on Google

By
Real Estate Agent with RE/MAX Elite

I was checking my HitTail log of visitors and what kind of searches they're using to find me and I found a really interesting keyphrase that made me think, people can find our sites by some really interesting combination of terms.

Here's the one I had today.

The search originated in Nigeria and some how, my site appeared in the #10 spot.

Even though the search phrase was not real estate related, this is a pure and perfect example of Long Tail search.Ā  If you embed the right keywords in your page, you maximize your chances of people finding your site.

Anyone has weird searches to share with the rest of us?

Regards.

Russell,

I monitor this for my site as well.  It is really strange sometimes to see what people search for to find your site.

I have had weird searchs in the past and can relate to what you are saying. I was looking up Star cycles in reference to my motorcycle and it took me to star porn sites while sitting with my 11 year old son, what a suprise to him and me.
