In mid-September things slowed down for me. The talk of a shutdown and the slight rise in interest rates and the news media made people less willing to buy. I chased some leads and created some of my own luck.
I called a FSBO and got the listing by showing him what I could do for him that he couldn't do for himself. I took an expensive condo under management. I have answered my leads quickly and efficiently. I have run two open houses and picked some leads and potential buyers for the townhouse. I took a floor call. I have been setting people up with my contact management system. From the condo rental I might have a condo buyer. I probably have the condo rented for the price the owner and I wanted. I have blogged every day for the active rain contest.
I still have no pendings but this is the type of business that is a prelude to success. I predict I will close a deals in December or early January. 2014 is looking even better then 2013!
This is the hustle and bustle that is the prelude to success!
