The holidays can be a stressful time of year, we all know that. It is also one of the most magical and emotional times of the year as well. If you are in the process of selling your home during October- December, here are the advantages for selling during this time.
* Your home looks fabulous! Take advantage of the holiday cheer. Tasteful decorations and warmth are key. Emotion plays a large role in a buyers thought process when purchasing a home. Capitalize on the holiday spirit. Keep in mind, distasteful decorations or over the top decor can distract a buyer.
*There are only motivated buyers. Those looking at your home are carving time out of their busy holiday schedule so you know they are serious buyers. Make it easy for agents and buyers to view your home so be flexible with your time.
*Less homes on the market. That means less competition. Many sellers don’t want to be bothered selling their home during the holidays. Make sure to keep your home “show ready” at any given time.
