Saturdays Tooele Homes For Sale report was pretty OK. There were 461 homes and condominiums listed for sale at the close of business on 3/15/08. Thats according to the Wasatch Front MLS who keeps track of those things all over Utah, and lets us share them with you. This report deals with about 98% of the Tooele County Real Estate sales, in that we have only asked the MLS to report home and condominium sales in Tooele, Stansbury Park, Erda, and Grantsville Ut.
The report does not include homes for sale by owner (FSBOs), in Tooele County, or new construction projects (new homes, condos, or town homes) like you find around Bensons Mill in Stansbury Park or the new home subdivisions in Grantsville Ut.
The bottom line is, compared to other areas around the State of Utah, and particularly the Salt Lake Valley, Tooele County has had a great week in Real Estate.

Of the 461 Tooele homes for sale, 10 were condos. Only 14 were Foreclosures, Bank Owned, or Short Sales.
In the last seven days......
Real Estate Agents took 40 new listings.

Agents wrote 19 contracts.
Six of those contracts were for New Homes.
Average listing price of homes listed was $194,000.
Lowest price listing was $90 thousand, for 46 year old 2300sqft ,Tooele Rambler.
Highest was a 1 yr old 4bdrm,4bth, two story on a half acre in Grantsville for $409,000.
Four homes closed & funded.
Twenty six homes were removed from the Tooele, Stansbury Park, Erda, Grantsville market for various reasons.
All in all it was a pretty good week for buying or selling homes in Tooele County. If you use contracts written as the guide, Tooele shows about a 5.5 month supply of homes. That certainly ranks high along the Wasatch Front, and is at the cusp between a buyers and sellers market.
