Bob your post are great. The photography is always inspiring, love it. So much great information too. I hope you are doing well.
Your clients that allow you to manage their forest land are very fortunate that you are representing them. I don't know anyone that respects the land more than you do.
Bob, you have some of the most thorough, content filled blogs that I see here in the Rain...well done!
Good morning friends and thanks for stopping by!
Chippewa county is a great place to be with some very high quality forests mixed with ample farms which provide a lot of food for our wildlife, and it is close to the big city of Eau Claire. And the combo of these three is largely why we located one of our offices here.
Debbie, it sounds like you have quite a little piece of heaven in your corner of Colorado, I hope to visit someday.
Noah, thank you so much, hope you are doing well too, come up and visit our beautiful forests someday.
Thank you so much Joe, I only hope that we can live up to your kind words.
Kristin, that is a very nice thing to say, although I do think that yours are probably better.
Bob...Looks like that one buck wasn't as strong as the thought he was and lost an antler!
Hi Bob, I am enjoying going through some of your early blog posts and reposts and getting ready to start doing some posts myself soon.
I love it when land is managed for wildlife. I have acreage with two spring fed trout ponds and a spring that flows at 400 CFS...we send water down to the farmland below us. The deer bed at our place and one doe gives birth every year along our property border. We have several species of ducks that come every year.
We also have a really remote mountain property. We lived there for almost five years off the grid. We had a well...so water wasn't an issue. We had a bear and a lynx that lived on the property...but in a way that didn't bother us. We loved it. I don't know how many people asked us to hunt that bear...we wouldn't allow it. We said we would be the only people to kill that bear, and only if it threatened us. Nature is AWESOME.
