Clark County Wisconsin, High Quality Forests and Wildlife Wonderland
Clark County Wisconsin includes a great mix of High quality forests and dairy farms which provide great habitat for many wildlife species, especially Whitetail Deer.
This County is also located in a unique place for Woodland Management Service, in that it is half way between our main two offices in Cadott and Stevens Point and most of the work that we do here is coordinated by our Wildlife Specialist Jesse Kulesa and one of our lead Foresters Nick Crane.
Our clients at Woodland Management Service own a lot of premium forest land in this county and they are delighted with the bountiful wildlife here.
Clark County is home to more than 320 thousand acres of forest land, 60 percent of which is private land with the remaining land being primarily on the County Forest.
Most of this forest land is High quality Red Oak with over 130 thousand acres of Oak. Aspen forests come in second with around 65 thousand acres of this forest type.
These forests are not only good for producing income for our clients but also great habitat for high quality Deer, Grouse, Turkeys, Bears, Wolves, and more.
If you are interested in purchasing land in Clark county or if you already own some and would like to learn more about how to improve this land, give me a call, our Foresters and Wildlife Specialists can help.
