Last night we had our almost monthly Falls of the James Group (FoJG) Sierra Club General Meeting at the University of Richmond (UR) Jepson Alumni Center. First, the executive director of the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation spoke and then a representative from Richmond 2015 spoke at the end. Sample feedback about this meeting is available on Meetup.com, and many others just showed up at the event, also. Approximately 50 people attended this particular meeting.
So are Richmond, Virginia, area real estate prices prices expected to jump simply as a result of an anticipated global event called Richmond 2015? Perhaps it's too soon to tell, but there already is definitely more economic activity in Virginia that can be tied to this anticipated global event, scheduled for September 19-27, 2015.
The following series of photos taken from the two consecutive presentations last night will offer a few "snapshot" explanations. Since these two subjects are very comprehensive in nature, please check website links shown in the first paragraph above for further information!

Local businesses in those areas of Virginia included in Richmond 2015 can get involved.
Finally, a few images from the Virginia Capital Trail Foundation presentation last night also helps explain there is a very real economic correlation with Richmond 2015. By studying the two web sites, one may begin to infer some connections.
