I like apple pie.

Apple pie anyone?  This is another strange fact (did not research it) brought to you by your US government. 

What say all American than apple pie?  Apple pie filling, apple sauce and apple butter can contain up to 12% mold.  Just one more for today, the FDA says peanut butter can have no more than an average of one rodent hair per 100 grams.  Just more food for thought (had to throw that one in).

James, we all need a little mold in our apple pie to go along with the insect parts that the FDA deems aaceptable in the food stream. Just another good reason to make the food consumed from scatch and not out of a can!

100 grams is 3.5 ounces, or about a teaspoonful of peanut butter.  I have to say I have never seen a rodent hair in peanut butter, and that includes in South America!  There were flies in the cheese down there though...
