The nicest compliment is when you are recognized by a referral partner for doing a good job. We all have those tough deals every now and then. I recently closed a loan for a buyer that waited for 18 months to buy the home. It was a short sale where the servicing lender was dragging their feet every step of the way. The buyer was determined. This was the home that he wanted. If he was willing to stick with it, I wasn't going to say no. We were all delighted when we got him to the closing table last month.
Today the Realtor and I were discussing another deal that will be closing next month. As we were comparing the two transactions she said to me, "If you can close (buyer's name withheld), you can do anything, you're just like Wonder Woman."
Okay, I have never felt that I match the talents of Wonder Woman, but it was a nice compliment and it made my day.
