With the foreclosure rate being at an all time high, people are going to resort back to renting. Think about it...after all the predatorial lending caused such a high rate of foreclosures, what are all those people who lost their homes going to do??? RENT...that's the only thing they can do! So it's not a bad idea to pick up as many multi-units as possible. I recommend multi-units because SFH are a little harder to keep your thumb on. This is a natural and inevitable occurrence...so if you are currently investing or thinking about starting to invest...multi-unit rentals is where you should start looking!!!
