It’s small. It is easy to navigate. Parking is a breeze. I don’t have to be there 2 hours prior to departure in this post 9/11 world (45 minutes will suffice if I’m checked in and not checking a bag). It’s 10 minutes from my house yet I am not in the flight path. Even though I’m not in the flight path we do have occasional planes fly overhead and that’s fun for my kids.
It is not an international airport. Sometimes it does take a little bit of extra planning to travel places. It’s a little more difficult to use my air miles than it did when I lived near L.A. and had a hub for many airlines.
But it’s worth it. I’d take Boise airport any day.
