Remember all of that Holiday stuff last year that you put off until next year?

Remember all of that Holiday stuff last year that you put off until next year?Well guess what!

“Next year” is here. And although I’ve had eleven months to put my holiday plans into motion I have somehow managed to put it all on the back burner.

That is until now. I figure that I have about a week to realize my lofty holiday ambitions before it is “too late” to make them worth the trouble.

But I can’t just go back to last year’s unrealized tasks.

Because I seem to recall putting off some stuff last year from the year before.

And the year before that.

And yes, before that.

Truth be told, I think that I am caught up 1998.

And that’s a lot of catching up to do in a short time!

Oh well, there’s always next year.

Richard, I get it!  I'm putting off planning my client holiday party until after Thanksgiving.  And I'm putting off the party until early January.  Like a ringing out the season thing.  Now that's procrastination.

Well, if you can figure out how to catch up let us know...there just is not enough hours in the day for normal day to day stuff.

Richard,  This is a funny post because it is so relate-able.  I honestly don't believe in truly "catching up."  If I missed doing something last year or the year before, or the year before that ... I typically just take on the start over mentality.  There are times I feel like kitty on the left during the holidays.  My goal is to feel like kitty on the right ... all laid back and clam like ... "I got this."

Oh, if I could get paid for the stuff I keep putting off, I'd probably NOT have to sell real estate! LOL!

But, even if I don't put it up, I need to go buy a Christmas tree, so I have one....first year since I can't remember when that I HAVE money for the holidays!

Happy Holidays to YOU...and we need to catch up next month when I'm at Pinewood Studios!

Richard: I am not yet in the "giving" Holiday party mode with my business. Too much still to do to set it all up. Just "going to" parties this year. That way I can relax and have fun! Next Year? Well, I have all year to plan...

I took the first step in getting our home holiday ready today.  Our decorating has been delayed due to the interior painting we're having done.  Painter is running behind.  Thankfully, he got our living room and dining room done for Thanksgiving.

BTW, love the pic of the kitties under the tree.

Or it could be a Spring thing ... or maybe next Summer! Thanks.

There are not! TYVM.

They actually posture for position when the tree goes up! Thanks.

Yes, it's just around the corner! See you soon!

Time really seems to accelerate this time of year! TY.

Chris Ann...

Believe it or not I always think of you when I post a kitty pic on AR! Thanks so much.

I am thinking that its time to dust off the decorations and start working on next year's plans! And Christmas decorations will go up before med December!
