Why is Village at Deaton Creek such a best selling active adult community over a number of years? There are several reasons that the folks at Del Webb will point out and that I will attest to from my several visits to this community and talking with many of their residents firsthand.

Del Webb points out the well built homes finished with quality products, fixtures and appliances. Then they point to the famous Del Webb active adult lifestyle that they have perfected so nicely. This active adult lifestyle has been copied and duplicated many times quite successfully.  To be sure there are many very nice active adult communities around the country. But Del Webb was the first to develop the active adult lifestyle communities and has only improved the concept over the years and I would say no one does it better.

Del Webb says you can notice the lifestyle from the moment you enter their gorgeous entrance which sets the mood right away with a natural and unique entrance with a resort feel. You will notice the people out walking along the wide sidewalks and trails and in the golf buggies heading to activities or to  the clubhouse. Then you see the people stopping to talk with neighbors as they go and come in the community.

The residents are likely to know a lot of fellow residents as they participate in the over 100 clubs of all sorts from bocce ball, cards, crafts, wine tasting groups, dinner clubs, you name it. There is the full time Lifestyle Director which every 55+ community does not have. The Lifestyle Director will help direct you to activities appropriate to your liking or even start a new one.

All of this is happening from the activities center for sure, but also with the extensive amenities throughout the community including miles of walking and hiking trails, the tennis courts and pavilion, my favorite the Bocce ball courts, the dog park, softball field and if applicable for you the Grandchildren park.

From my visits to Village at Deaton Creek I can tell you the people are truly happy and do not hesitate to tell you all about their positive expensive living in what many consider the top active adult community in Atlanta, Deaton Creek.
