It is with complete enthusiasm that my wife and I recommend Benjamin Clark and Homebuyer Representation, Inc. for anyone's home buying effort!

With an impending retirement from the US Air Force, but not before one final deployment, Ellen and I had a small window of opportunity to buy a home in Salt Lake. Currently residing in Ohio, we knew the search would be complicated by our distance, and the limited amount of time available "on the ground" to look at all reasonable properties and ultimately close. We needed an ally.

Scouring the internet, I learned about "Exclusive Buyer's Agents" and read multiple recommendations for Benjamin Clark. After a deliberate two-way interview (he wanted to know as much of me as I did of him), we felt comfortable that Ben could deliver both what we wanted and what we needed. Our situation was not simple: we had approximately one week in Utah to see 50-60 reasonable properties, decide, and hopefully have an offer accepted. In my incredulousness, and with full confidence, I let him know what I was willing to pay. He stood his researched ground, even though it would lessen his commission. When the sellers countered, it was right at my "preferred price". Had I of been with any other agent, the deal would have closed ... and I would have left $25,000.00 on the table! But Ben, now concentrating on the seller's agent and utilizing his impressive ninja negotiation skills, recommended a minimal offer increase, still far below their counter. I was nervous. Ben was calm. And Ben was right!

Our week in Utah over, Ben arranged for all follow up on inspections and activities and kept us up to date every step of the way. He shopped mortgage lenders for the lowest rate and fees and he found yet additional savings. His dedication to service and attention to detail is best described as if he's buying his own home!

I'm not sure if anyone truly enjoys the house buying experience. But I do know Ben will make the entire process as smooth, controlled, and anxiety-free as possible.
