Calvert Hospice makes it their job to take care of Calvert County citizens living with a terminal illness. They make the last days of their patients as peaceful and pain-free as possible. They are also a wonderful sounding board for the patient's loved ones.
Take a walk through the Calvert County Festival of Trees 2013 the weekend after Thanksgiving (November 29th through December 1st). Trees have been decorated and donated for the cause by several local businesses, organizations and individuals. Enjoy the twinkling lights and bask in the knowledge that your visit is helping patients and their families weather rough seas during their last days here on earth. It's a good thing. Happy holidays!
